I recently participated in an interview with AIGA Arizona to talk about my new role as chapter president, what motivates my work, and where I see the local design community heading. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the journey that brought me here—and to share a bit about what I hope to help build in the coming months.

One of the lessons I learned early in my career is that acceptance is the first step in the creative process. By accepting a client's money, you're also accepting their business problems as your own. It's not just about delivering a design; it's about fully embracing the responsibility to understand, interpret, and solve their challenges. Take that responsibility seriously, and act accordingly.
